Kasai Hair would like to thank all who have contributed to our second Japan disaster relief fundraiser. The event hosted top stylists from Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Torrance and other surrounding areas. Kasai and his artistic team are truly humble to have had the chance to work with everyone. The event raised $3,469. This full amount will be donated to the Japan American Red Cross, along with $7,450 that we raised at the first event. There are earthquake and tsunami victims out there right now in Japan struggling to survive without food or water, seeking shelter in falling snow. The money we raised will allow shipments of food, water, and supplies to be sent to Japan. Each of you that participated should be proud of what together we accomplished. Let us also keep the survivors in the forefront of conversation and interaction with others. Who knows, that simple little extra effort just might make some kind of important difference in our continued relief efforts. I extend my thanks, once again, to all who have donated to this worthy cause and encourage those who haven’t yet, to consider doing the same. What we do now to help is crucial to Japans future. My sincere thanks and gratitude, Katsumi Kasai

I would like to thank all who have contributed, to the Japan disaster relief fundraiser. Donations have begun to pour in and for that I am grateful. The money we raised will allow shipments of food, water, and supplies to be sent to Japan.
Such acts of compassion bring encouragement and hope. Amazingly the Japanese people have retained their composure, trying to help each other.
The disaster in Japan continues to flood the cable news broadcasts and social networking sites, but it’s no longer revolving around the survivors, instead the focus has switched to worries of nuclear radiation. Let not that potential crisis take away from the immediate true tragedy of lost lives and suffering victims.
Nuclear radiation exposure is an obvious concern and not one that should be dismissed. However, there are earthquake and tsunami victims out there right now in Japan struggling to survive without food or water, seeking shelter in falling snow.
Each of you that participated should be proud of what together we accomplished. Let us also keep the survivors in the forefront of conversation and interaction with others. Who knows, that simple little extra effort just might make some kind of important difference in our continued relief efforts.

I am truly humble to have had the chance to work with everyone. The event raised $7,450.35. This full amount will be donated to the Japan American Red Cross.
My sincere thanks and gratitude,
